design at its best, is an act of truly caring for how we shape the world.

My name is Phil.

I design moonshot apparel products at lululemon. 🚀

As Senior Designer on the Advanced Concepts team, I leverage my industrial design mindset and creativity to create performance apparel concepts that are ambitious and seemingly unattainable. My concepts build on insights, emerging technology, and business needs to define innovative and ownable performance products. I have been involved in the design and development of various apparel concepts across performance intimates, accessories, and outerwear. I lead the development of innovative garments that push the boundaries of the on-body feel they elicit by rethinking how they are made and applying new technologies. This work is subtle, rigorous, and obsessive—and that’s why I love it. I collaborate with key partners to use advanced raw materials, breakthrough manufacturing methods, and rigorous user testing to bring unique, IP-generating product concepts toward commercialization.
